TourneyBound Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Is sure starting to look good, if that's possible. I know it was a loss but the way michigan has been playing it makes me believe we have a chance to beat anyone, especially at home. Quote
hhcdave Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 I hear what you're saying and on one level, don't disagree. It's sure going to be nice though someday when this program gets to a point where no loss is a "good loss" and we hate all losses. Over the last few years, we've gone form celebrating big wins to patting ourselves on the back for "good losses" whether it be UMass this year, then UAB after they beat UNC, then Iowa on the road, then Michigan. I hear what you're saying and am not being mean in the least - just saying this whole mantra needs to change and hopefully soon it will. But in the meantime, when they haven't given us many "W's" to be excited about in several years (or decades), then this is what we are left with as fans. jimmykc and jaimes2000 2 Quote
HB Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Maybe I'm missing the point, but fans expectations or mantra won't mean a thing. Getting better, more experienced players will. Quote
