Anyone know what the deal with him was last night?

MIles said on the post game show that he didn't do anything wrong and that it was a coaches decision.  Said that he was the third big and since they weren't in foul trouble they didn't need him.

 

I want to think there is something more there.  I haven't seen every game this year.  But he seems to be a player that is always doing good things.  I understanding shortening your bench and they won last night.  But to see him not play at all was kinda odd.

Like Miles said... he is our 3rd Big and we did not need him.  I do not think anything is going on with him.  He is the type of player that will be needed in certain situations.  He and Parker will be guys that are needed at times and not needed in others.  Parker played last night for 1 purpose... good D.

I imagine rivers will get quite a few minutes against Creighton and in conference play.  Miami was tall, but not exactly big or physical so we were fortunately able to avoid foul trouble

It is actually Rivers vs River.  That said, he is fine and Coach will communicate with him.  I anticipate that David Rivers will be an important player for us as we roll through the year.
