Nebraska will sign junior college forward Leslee Smith on Wednesday – the first day of the late spring signing period. That will leave, as of now, one scholarship opening for the upcoming season.

Who fills it? Herbert? Or Sai Tummala, the 6-7 wing from Salt Lake City Community College who visited over the weekend?

Or might Nebraska take both?

That, of course, would mean attrition, but if -- IF -- there’s anybody leaving the program, don’t expect any news of that regard until the end of the spring semester in three weeks.
