My guess has always been 80%+ of these incidents are not truly “fans” or are fans of other teams.

 

If I’m coaching I’d highly encourage my players to stay away from social media and if they did have it, better have thick skin and ignore, ignore, ignore.

Turn off your DM's man.  As much as college basketball players might benefit from the ladies sliding into their DMs, the world is also full of the shittiest people and all of them have social media accounts.
