I think there's something to that - we're kind of the 'king' of the North-Central in terms of baseball, so that may help. The NCAA likes picking a few northern teams, even when their RPIs aren't great. Our RPI is so far past 'not so great', though, it's going to be tough. 

 

I'd imagine Rutgers not being known much for baseball cost them last year. If that had been us with the same record/RPI, we probably get in.
