appears to be out at espn. imagine that means less coverage for ncaa wbb.

appeared to me to be ESPN's decision, not his. sounded like he is looking elsewhere. maybe he will land at one of the other major sports sites.

He was at ESPN for quite a while...20+ years...wonder what happened. He did a good job covering all women's sports.

Wonder if politics had anything to do with it ?

i would guess it's more of a financial thing. well-known espn has been struggling for years now. i only watch games now on that channel. quit watching anything else quite a few years ago when they turned more to politics.

quote from a 'Variety' 2018 article:

"Disney spends piles of cash on ESPN every year — one 2016 estimate has the company paying out $7.3 billion annually for sports rights alone. Yet with viewers being offered additional video choices and setting up new behaviors to watch baseball, football and other sports, money alone won’t solve the problem. “How many more subscribers go away?” asks George Pyne, founder of the investment firm Bruin Sports Capital and a former president of IMG Sports and Entertainment. “How much is that going to change as you switch from linear to direct-to-consumer in the next 10 years?”
