Man, this was expected at some point, but I was hoping to get another year or two with Craig Smith on the bench. I think this is a really big blow. I'm fortunate enough to have seats pretty close to the NU bench. Coach Miles and Coach Smith pretty much "co-coach" this team. Whoever we hire needs to be a top notch X's and O's guy and not some guy with "AAU connections".

Kerr should have said its more like a "major conference team playing a mid major".

Dougie and Creighton getting exposed against talent from a major conference. Basketball is tough when you have to play teams outside of the MVC and "Big East 2.0"

Sounds more like a Frank Martin leaving Kansas State for South Carolina type deal.

This really says a lot about the demise of the Big East. The "new" Big East is nothing more than a mid major at this point, and everyone outside of Omaha knows it. Va Tech seems to be a graveyard for coaches but I guess Buzz wants to give it a shot in the ACC. Good for him.

This is the last year of Creighton being relevant for a long time. Let them enjoy what remains of their tournament run this year. Dougie is almost gone and daddy already proved he couldnt cut it in a major conference. (If you want to consider the Big East as "major")

Any word from the NCAA on any disciplinary action for this idiotic ref?
