Okay got here late will say why later. Turn on the game and it is 0-7 and I am like “oh no we suck again” But forgot how mature and hard nose some of these guys are. Might not win this thing but we aren’t going to get run out of a gym any more.

Berek is so European. In a great way. Raises his hands when he fouls, claps a lot, hustles and very fundamentally sound. But the best was when he went down during the game, I knew he really was hurt as he gave the international soccer sign for a sub and doctor. The twirling the hands over the head. I love his game and hope he is back soon.

This a 1,000 times yes. I dint think he got that great of coaching last year. He’ll his own teammates wouldn’t give him the ball during the games I saw them play last year

Some that they sent making shots but they looked terribly tired or maybe don’t care to be here or ate too much over the last 4 days. but no hustle no fire just kinda showed up. now they go on a 20 point run and I look dumber than I usually am.

But we seem to play our best after we have looked average at best. Cook kind of gets them to flip the switch after a bad outing. Also it wasn’t like we got taken to the wood shed. Got beat by a better playing team on their court. Also had a former player want to show we did her wrong. Probably beat them at home and on neutral floor. Because we did boat race them in the second set, but we do have some warts.

Well… sigh we gonna win it all.

We need to also remember that both Gavin and Connor are only sophomores that were a bit of role players on their last team. If they were both 5th year seniors coming and playing a bit (lost ?) I would be really worried. However both will have ups and downs through out the year. Berke may hit a wall sometime too, but we will be okay when that happens too.

I agree with the Brice “body language”. He isn’t a rah rah or overly vocal type of guy. I remember that we often get uhh frustrated with the guys who shoot arrows and make the too small gestures. But also have trouble with a guy who shows no emotion but is arguably best player.

Could we be starting Meath to win the tap?

The two freshman in and both don’t look like they are going to pee down their leg because they don’t seem scared. and Janowski also is thick in the lowers body. Tim would have loved him his leg hair looks like a Sasquatch
