Great start! Especially for KC!!!

I was trying to watch both games at the same time so I wasn't fully paying attention....with that said: Too many turnovers (however if the refs were being graded this game then as someone mentioned anything that 'looked' illegal would be called and there were probably quite a few anticipation calls) but we found a way to win, that's the most important thing bottom line. Move on, try to learn on the turnovers and knock off Michigan.

I've noticed we have been getting Jess the ball a lot on the left lane/block. Maybe if we switched it to the other side she'd feel more comfortable finishing with her right hand? Idk....

Ok, I'd like to believe that. But I still say we can't afford to lose to PSU, Minnesota, or Wisconsin.

We'll pretty much have to win out and have some help from other teams to have a chance. At the very least we CAN NOT lose to Penn State, Wisconsin, or Minnesota. Those teams are just too low in RPI for us to overcome with our schedule this year (and unfortunately we play PSU twice, ouch!). Lose 1 or 2 of those and you're probably looking at winning the B1G tourney. With that said, we still have Purdue X2, MSU, Rutgers, and OSU which would all be significant RPI wins (Northwestern is a ?, they have been falling lately).

"Internal matters". Funny thing is, this was the same game last year she wasn't supposed to start but did due to a mistake.

I'm sure glad Cal isn't next. We will probably look sluggish in our next game so I'm glad we'll be at home with fans to help get us energized again.

We miss way too many easy shots.

Not too bad after the first half. Gave up to many "easy" baskets though. I can live with Stewart making those plays, she's just that good. Don't neccessarily like leaving her standing under the hoop though. I like the fight.

Slowly but surely we can start to piece it together. So far, in no order: @UCONN Creighton North Carolina State @Cal That's a pretty good schedule so far. Good RPI with Cal and UCONN even if we lose (plus obviously lots of experience against good competition). Thoughts so far?

Apparently ASU can host now. They were hosting the Pac-12 gymnastics championship but that got moved to Utah so ASU could host. Creme has Neb/Txam/Louisville/i don't remember in the College Station region. I think you could easily flip it from College Station to Lincoln (but that is considering that the selection committee is even thinking the same way as creme).

Iowa is getting away with a lot of s#$%

This game is in Iowa's favor pace wise.

If I recall from both this year and what appears to be next year, it's the opposite of the men's schedule (play the same teams but the men's home only games are the women's road only games, etc.)

She's done for year;having surgery tomorrow. Complete tear of ligament in ankle. Per Yori pre-game interview.

Northwestern wins this one unfortunately. We had a hard time with them in Lincoln last year and lost in Evanston last year. If we have a really good shooting night and/or they have a poor one that could obviously shift things in our favor.

Penn State and Illinois could be very dangerous teams in the B1G tourney. Illinois because Crawford is back and PSU because they seem to be getting things figured out a bit.

Regarding Romeo: When I was in college I went to a softball game and happened to sit by Sunny. During the game she kept trying to call Romeo to touch base and received a call back stating that "I don't know who you are trying to reach but this is not Natalie." She then called her dad and found out she had a couple of digits turned around. I thought it was quite funny lol. ANYWAY one of her friends came over to talk to her and they started discussing Natalie and Sunny made the comment that she was the next Lindsey Moore and that she was just terrific. I see some glimpses of it and i hope more of that breaks through as she gains more experience here in her freshmen year.
