Matt said sometime between 6 and 7:30. Just depends on when they get finished with things in Indy -
More confusing as ever, especially with USC's win. I'll wait to see what Creme comes up with before I dissect it. Think we are in the 4 seed range and with a win tomorrow it would be hard to keep us out of the 3 seed

We need to be smart about how we go about these games. If we get a 15-20 pt lead in any of the games we NEED to get the bench into the games even if its just for a couple of minutes. Originally, I didn't necessary want to play in the BTT 'ship because that would be 3 games in 3 days with basically 6 maybe 7 players playing and I had thought that the NCAA tourney was the next week. However, I see that we get a 2 week break. I guess I'm more inclined to win the BTT now, but I'm still cautious about it.

The latest bracketology has shifted some things around. The sub-regionals in the Lincoln are still Ames, Seattle, Waco, and College Station. We are in Seattle as a 4 seed with Cal a 5 seed. Some other interesting notes: Durham is now in the Louisville regional and as such, Duke is a 3 seed and Oklahoma State is a 6 seed. Could be a potential rematch from last year. Michigan State is in Chapel Hill, I actually think MSU might be able to pull the upset here if they can neutralize Diamond Deshields. South Carolina is a 1 seed in the Ames sub-regional; could be interesting. Of course, some of these matchups will change again, but it makes for some fun daydreaming.

Will Nebraska get moved out of the Lincoln region ? If The Huskers get a #4 seed the way you have them projected that puts them in Seattle, But then does Cal get moved to 5 or do they get a #3. This is the joy of it! They will not move us out of the Lincoln regional. Technically, Creme had us at a 5 seed but moved us down to a 6 seed for "procedural" reasons. This was before the Penn State game. And if we beat Purdue, I think we get a 5 seed with an outside shot of a 4 seed. In Creme's bracket, Cal is already in Seattle so I don't see a problem with keeping them as a 4 seed and moving us to a 5 seed in that sub-regional. Plus with ISU's upset of OSU it would make sense to move OSU to a 6 seed and send them to College station and then have Syracuse who was originally in the Seattle sub-regional to Purdue. It's obviously closer and we all know how the NCAA likes to save money. Makes sense to me. Am I missing anything? What do you think Row6? You mention OSU I haven't watched many of their games caught glimpses of them here and there, I see that they are on a bit of down slide losing 5 of their last 9. Or 4 of the 7 in February when the tourney seeds are made. So do you see them sliding farther then they have ? I see them as a 6 seed or just barely getting a 5 seed

Be careful what you wish for. I could see us being sent to Ames in a certain situation but it would probably most definitely mean playing ISU in the 1st round, on their home court.

I have them as a 4/5 seed. Basically I took Creme's bracket and sent Oklahoma state to Texas Am as the 6 seed, Syracuse to Purdue as the 5 seed, and then Cal and Neb as the 4/5 seeds in Seattle. Of course if Duke ends of getting a 3 seed, this will mess it all up.

Man I feel for the selection committee this year. There are going to be a lot of unhappy people with their placement in the brackets, including us probably. The 16 hosts sites are: Storrs, Lexington, Chapel Hill, Baton Rouge, Toledo, West Lafayette, University Park, Durham, Los Angeles, Iowa City, College Park, Knoxville, Ames, Seattle, College Station, Waco. Now of these 16 Nebraska CAN"T go to: Storrs (#1 seed), Toledo (assume to place a #1 seed there), West Lafayette (2 B1G teams can't play in second round), University Park (same thing), Los Angeles (assuming Stanford is sent here as #1 seed), Iowa City (B1G teams), and most likely Ames (protecting #1 seed). That leaves: Lexington Chapel Hill Baton Rouge Durham College Park Knoxville Seattle College Station Waco Now: Baylor and Tennessee are probably most definitely going to be 2 seeds. So we wouldn't sent to either of those places because we are higher than the 7/10 seeds. THIS leaves: College Station Seattle College Park Durham Baton Rouge Lexington Now is where this gets interesting. Duke is currently listed as a 2 seed, but with the injury to Alexis Jones it's POSSIBLE that the committee could move them to a 3 seed. If they don't and leave Duke as a 2 seed, then this eliminates Durham as a place for Nebraska to go, and you STILL have Louisville who will either be a 1 seed or a 2 seed and Nebraska won't be assigned to either of those two sites. But Louisville isn't hosting the 1/2 rounds so they will have to be sent somewhere, most likely Baton Rouge for geography reasons. Let's say all of this is exactly what the committee is thinking too, that leaves: Lexington Chapel Hill College Park Seattle College Station Of these, the best place would be Seattle (for neutral court reasons). This year is a mess compared to recent years just because of the teams that are hosting and ones that maybe shouldn't be. I'm sure we will all be surprised on selection day and either be relieved or angered lol. As I have just finished typing this, if you see an error (I didn't use logic thinking, or repeated something twice) please let me know so I can eliminate the confusion.

Yes, but it was updated before our win over Penn State. An interesting question, at least in my opinion, is: would anyone be ok being sent to Durham now? Alexis Jones is out meaning that Duke effectively doesn't have a true point guard. Obviously they still have talented players, but how much does this effect them?

The interesting thing is that WSU is also there again. That's 3 of the 4 teams that were there last year. However, win our remaining games and this will change (especially since PSU and PU have very high RPIs, not to mention PSU is a great team). Whether or not that's for the better remains to be seen as it appears that most of the teams hosting this year are also really good (North Carolina, Duke, Maryland, Connecticut, Tennessee, Baylor). The dream place imo would be someplace like Seattle or Ames (provided ISU doesn't make the tourney which is a possibility). There are other sites where the home team most likely won't be there (such as Toledo) but a couple of 1 seeds will be sent to those places for the purpose of protecting them. One of the reasons why I kind of would have preferred to get the 1st/2nd rounds is that we would have had home court advantage to get to the regionals. Extremely hard to go to someone else's floor and win 2 games just to get back. That's a lot of pressure.

Does anyone know what the song/music is that they play when the team comes out for the final portion of their warm-ups before the game? There aren't any lyrics, just some siren type sounding effects.
