  1. The public may only know about these things for the past decade, but the victims have known about them since the 1990s or before
  2. And one awkward retracted shoutout to Sipple.
  3. This is where my head is at.
  4. When the bandwagon starts filling up, the cost of admission can be steep. Everybody wants to have a little hand in saying they were involved in something special.
  5. If Moos doesn't know the full picture of what Miles has done here and looks primarily at the overall record and lack of postseason success, then I'd be thinking "tourney or bust" this year if I was Miles. But based on the little information I know about Moos, those two have probably had their fair share of talks at this point to levelset the expectations.
  6. Take it with a grain of salt:
  7. Bring one of these signs with you:
  8. Believe it or not, some people define 'success' beyond results on the court. I'm sure these facilities will end up with a pretty solid financial ROI when all is said and done.
  9. We also went 1-2 in the Charleston Classic, dropping to UMASS and UAB, went on a five game losing streak, had the drama with Biggs around the time we had a disappointing loss at Cincinnati, and didn't get our first true road win until the 2nd week in February. We can find flaws in any schedule. It all comes down to what the committee values and what baggage they're willing to set aside.
  10. I couldn't say definitively since they're under a new evaluation system, but I would assume they're not going to out that much thought into giving us credit unless there's someone in that room who is willing to back us up.
  11. If our nonconference SOS and/or conference scheduling was weaker than a #5/#6 Big Ten opponent and they're a game behind then it's not out of the realm of possibility. Seems very rare though. Edit: I should probably caveat that I just don't see the committee only taking three teams from the Big Ten. So this statement is an assumption that a team like Maryland or Michigan could take that #4 NCAA tourney spot from us even if we finished #4 in the conference.
  12. Based on Lunardi's First Four Out and Next Four Out, here's how their remaining schedules look: First Four Out: Virginia Tech: 4 ranked opponents Baylor: 6 Georgia: 5 St. Bonaventure: 1 Next Four Out: Boise State: 1 ranked opponents Maryland: 3 Washington: 2 Western Kentucky: 0 There's many opportunities to rise and fall for most of these teams.
  13. That's the hope! (fingers crossed)
  14. Just remember that the Big Ten is also a week ahead of everybody else. If we're not getting any recognition now, it's only going to be that much more of an uphill battle.
  15. Don't worry, we'll have a whole week to stress while we're sitting at home and the rest of college basketball still has a week of hoops left to play and build their case to be a tourney team.
  16. We're in that weird territory where that double bye is either good or bad for us. Getting an extra win without that bye isn't the worst thing, but the double bye also prevents us from potentially getting a loss from a bad team. Not sure how I feel either way at this point.
  17. Believe it or not, we are exactly one month away from wrapping up this regular season. It's been a journey of highs and lows, but fortunately more highs this year. The fact that it's almost February and we're still in the hunt makes this season one to be excited about. We still have a lot of work to do, but take some time to step back and enjoy it because the regular season is quickly coming to a close. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
  18. It all depends on how the other bubble teams shake out in the next few weeks. Right now we just can't take any chances.
  19. Seems they've given up on basketball.
  20. It only took 329 days...
  21. Roby plays way too soft at times. But man...when he's got some fire in him, he's hard to stop! On both sides of the ball!
