RIP Coach Williams. He helped bring in some amazing talent in the 90’s and was a big factor in why I have so many fond memories of Husker basketball during that era.

I actually got to have lunch with Brian “Dexter” Holland at The Fish Company in Long Beach back in 1999. I was doing an audit at a flight training location where he was learning to fly a plane, as he recently purchased a new plane. The General Manager at that location asked me if I’ve ever heard of the band The Offspring. I said yes, they’re one of my favorite bands. He said good, the lead singer is here and he’ll set up a time for us to go to lunch. He’s seemed like a pretty nice guy. My claim to fame.

I really like this kid’s potential and think he’ll be a perfect fit for Hoiberg’s offense. I remember watching him play against Nebraska thinking I’d love to have this kid on our team. Big get IMO.

I’m fine if he decides to stay at my Alma mater. Would love to have him become a Husker, but please don’t go to Creighton, Wisconsin or Michigan St.

I think Josh Odson is worse. Plus he has a very punchable face. I used to listen to their show but got sick of their Creighton circle jerks and hatred for Nebrasketball. I refuse to listen now.
