Positively, I'd agree with Rivers. On the other hand, I guess I was surprised Parker struggled to play well. While I didn't expect him to be an elite guard in his freshman year, I expected him to be our point guard at least a good bit of the time. He may still prove to be a good player for us but not what I hoped for this year.

ILL - 69 NU - 62 I think we will play them reasonably well but will fall short on the road.

I think we might actually beat BOTH Iowa and Minnesota but our bench has to be way better in both games than it was against Iowa for that to happen.

A rule that I've adopted as a bike rider is to always assume I'm invisible and that other drivers don't see me. That rule has saved me on more than one occasion but it is nearly always a female on a cell phone when it occurs.

Pretty sure we ARE ALREADY headed in the right direction and I think we are already seeing some good things from the current team. I, for one, am really proud of the way they have played even though the wins aren't there. Put the current players and the redshirts with the incoming players and I think NEXT YEAR will be pretty exciting and TWO YEARS from now we will knocking on the NCAA door.
