Do you use Roku, or a similar device?
-
I did a little "Googling" and discovered others were having trouble with the B1G+ app through Roku. One suggestion was to delete the channel from Roku (Apple?), then add it back in. I did this. Guess I will find out tomorrow, when I tune in for the Men's game, if it made a difference (or Saturday for WBB or Volleyball). GBR

You didn't have any breaks in the feed tonight? I wasn't the only one watching that had issues (tonight and previously). How is your feed set up? I go through Roku.
-
That was a brawl. Probably needed a game like this. We passed the test. (barely)
-
Quality of B1G+ feeds this year leaves much to be desired. Connecting is an issue, game after game. Picture quality also is poor. I run a speed test, and my internet connection is fine.
-
Don't you have a forward button on your remote?
-
You can fast forward and catch up. I'm listening to Matt during half time live (on B1G+)
-
I lost the feed too. Went completely out of Roku, then started over. Reconnected. Good to hear it wasn't just me.

I'm still nervous about a pressure defense. We haven't seen much of it this year. Don't know if Creighton will come out pressing, or even has the depth to pressure much. I hope they do. We need the experience for the B1G schedule ahead. Go get em' Ladies!

As Hud mentioned, the depth is impressive. No such thing as "emptying the bench". They all compete for playing time.
-
18 - 0 start in the 3rd, blows this wide open. 25 - 0 run in the first quarter didn't hurt anything either.
-
It was so one-sided at the beginning, the game became a little sloppy. Bulldogs cut it to 10 at one point in the second quarter. Should be a competitive 2nd half.

My concern list is short too. 1. The verdict is still out on 'how will we handle pressure'. I only recall Prairie View applying full court pressure once, and they got a turn over. Not sure why they stopped (or I wasn't real observant). 2. Is Matt pronouncing Moriarty's name wrong? Seems he adds an additional "i" to it (Moriarity). Thumbs Up ladies! (and staff)

Coley played some serious "D" that quarter.

I like the shots taken from the 10 - 15 foot range. Bela had a couple beautiful, uncontested 10 footers.

Man, Woman, and Child! Nice start.

I do think, based on some of the "Let It Fly" type videos we've seen, the 3 point shot will be a significant part of our offense. We will need to do it more effectively, if we are going to open up the lanes for Sam, and others to attack the basket. Having moved back the line to 22' 1 3/4", from the previous 20' 9", will take some getting used to.

Enjoyable game to watch. Shelley seems to be a nice addition to the roster. A bit early, but I think she has an edge over Weidner at the point. My 'sleeper' newbie is Moriarty. The kid runs, jumps, and exhibits an athleticism I haven't noticed in awhile. A bit like Leigha Brown, but maybe more athletic. It will be fun watching her hound some of the better front court scorers in the league.

Good article by Sam in today's OWH. A few things mentioned: Kendall Moriarty could be used as a defensive stopper. Nailah Dillard is out for the year with an ACL tear. Tatiana Popa will redshirt this year. And, Sam Haiby, because of the Covid impact on college sports, is again listed as a junior. She has not made any decisions regarding returning for another year or not.

I noticed the proposed changes (below), in another Forum. Do we have extended staff, we could utilize with this change? I read, on the men's side, they could possibly use Doc Sadler on court, while an assistant is out recruiting. He is currently, Special Assistant to the head coach. If not, should we look to hire an analyst, or special assistant? Sources: The NCAA has approved that starting on 9/20, two non-coaching staff members in men's and women's basketball can engage in on-court practice activity during the 21-22 season. No more than four coaches and non-coaching staff members combined, may give instruction.
