If they don't get someone for this year then that really makes next year's recruiting class super important. A couple of freshmen posts along with an experienced transfer would be good.
-
The way I looked at it is that Lilly T. prefers the power forward position instead of the center position. She wouldn't beat out Potts at Nebraska and will play alongside Crooks at Iowa State for the next three years. It came down to us and Iowa St. and they won this one like they did with their sixth year great point guard Emily Ryan. I think they also recruited Potts who I think is the better power forward.

I mentioned Halle Dolliver as a player to watch a year ago after her outstanding freshman season at Malcomb. Her club coach is Alex Markowski and I'm sure they have shown interest in her. She is a multisport athlete with great athletic DNA from both Dad and Mom.
-
Unfortunately for us she is going to Iowa State. I thought we had a great chance to get her. Oh well I hope we have another post in mind or a way to stay healthy with the ones we have.
-
Did Corey Montgomery play with Kelsey Griffin?
-
I think Emily Cady and Jordan Hooper played together.
-
The team she played for was not very good and who knows what they ran on offense and defense. Also she was a freshman. Her stats in New Zealand were much higher. You may not have somebody every year that averages 10 rebounds per game.
-
We will be fine. I like her system and 2 latest assistant coach hires. It is a joy to go to the games and watch the great chemistry on the team.
-
Hope we get her. More length than Alexis and could learn playing with her and then still have two years more left. Also a 4.0 student with what sounds like a good personality. Looking for headlines that she signs with us!!!!
-
Yes that needs to change and probably will eventually.
-
It's here to stay but needs better regulation. Sure would be nice for all athletes to get a piece of the pie.
-
Lilly Tauleilei a 6-3 Post player who is a freshman at Univ. of Mass. last season was a visitor at the Nebraska spring FB game last Sat. She was a decorated player in New Zealand in High School. Would have 3 years left. Hope she is in or going into the portal and signs with us.
-
She has done a pretty good job at Minnesota St. especially the last couple of years.
-
I have to believe our coach has something up her sleeve. Time will tell.
-
Our new assistant coach now has a year under his belt in working with our team in practice and games. He had two years with Alberte at Florida so he should have a good idea how she would fit in our system and be able to consistently contribute with whatever minutes she gets. It will all work out even though it will be for only one year especially since we won't lose many guards the next year and have an excellent recruit already committed for 2025.
-
She will be just fine.

Immediate and long-term future....what is your opinion?
HUD replied to twister31's topic in Row 6 Seat 10
Or 2-0 against Michigan, 3-0 Purdue, 2-0 Mich state. -
YES. It was previously mentioned in a press article that stress fractures was the cause for her surgery in high school.
-
Iowa has a commitment from the top point guard in California but I think it is for 2025. Pretty hard to project McCabe as the starting point guard when she didn't play much in two years with not much bench competition.
-
I kind of figured that is where they would end up. With Creighton losing pretty much everybody in another year they will get a lot better chance of playing.
-
Her high school surgery was to both feet as well. Hope this finally takes care of the problem.
-
I think how they lost the game to South Carolina was a career defining moment for her just like Scott Frost's on side kick against Northwestern was for him.
-
Once you knew the issue you could see the difference on camera. Pretty strange that games were played and nobody initially picked it up.
