Things to build on continued: Kavas only needs two more threes this game to match is season high and is a three shy of bumping his percentage back over 30% for the year.

I expect competency... I expect to compete. No one is saying we should make the post-season, but I think it's fair to expect to beat Southern Utah or not give up 38 points before we score 10. These are still D1 players that were recruited to play Big 10 basketball.

Here’s a fun yearly idea... The same day as the Creighton game every year, the best two teams in the state or the teams with the best two players in the state play a regular season HSBB game prior to the Nebraska/Creighton game! Thoughts?

On a day like today, coming here to bash a guy that hasn’t been our coach in 9 months, got us our first NCAA tournament appearance in so many years I don’t remember, got us our first draft pick since I don’t remember, and was an overall great guy and ambassador for the program as one of your first posts is a good way to make one think you might be wearing blue today.

The nice thing about it is that... while we are wildly inconsistent to the point we’ll probably lose a lot of games... our pure athleticism and ability to score in bunches by multiple guys give us an opportunity in all games if our shots are falling. Why not today?
