  1. With the Officiating, We Don't have a Chance.
  2. Maryland is all over the Huskers like GLUE; fouling like crazy with no calls. Thats why they get so many tips and steals. Difference is refs Expect Maryland to foul!
  3. Stats at the end of 3 Quarters of Play!!! Lady Huskers within 3 pts I LIKE the EFFORT from the GRIT; NO QUIT HUSKER LADIES! We may not win, But Maryland will know they've been in a FIGHT!!! (and won't look forward to playing us again!)
  4. 1,000 career points for Sam Haiby on that Trey!!
  5. Your Halftime Stats: Husker Ladies are working themselves back into the game!!!! Shots are falling better (we're still missing too many easy shots though ) Maryland can be 'Scared' ie Annika Stewart yelling at Diamond Miller to miss that lay-up ) I think we need to Foul MORE - if we are going to get penalized anyway, we may as well Deserve it!! With a Full Roster next season we should be able to play more aggressively without 'Fear of Fouling.'
  6. First Quarter Stats: Sorry, captured the wrong screen. (Corrected for Halftime stats)
  7. Ruby Porter is out for this game. (Hope she recovers soon. ) Your Officiating Crew: Referees: Kevin Pethtel, Laura Morris, Felicia Grinter
  8. Kelly Pfeifer; the NEW (and improved) Karl Hess?
  9. All the fouls seem to be called at one end of the court.
  10. What is the difference between a tie-up and a foul? Tie-up if Penn State does it; A foul if McGowens does it! These refs need some remedial officiating lessons! (just ask John W. Adams)
  11. What a Possession; Walker with the put-back!
  12. The question is: do two bads make a good?
  13. No whistles/fouls on anyone so far, per Jake
  14. https://nebraska.n.rivals.com/news/hoops-game-day-nebraska-vs-penn-state-2 3 KEYS TO VICTORY 1. Stay hot on the perimeter Nebraska sure has been lighting it up from the perimeter over the last couple of weeks. The Huskers have been averaging 74.2 points over their last six games while shooting 47 percent from the field and 39 percent on 3-pointers. 2. Keep Harrar off the glass The 6-foot-9, 240-pounder ranks sixth in the conference in rebounding at 8.4 per game, but he does the bulk of his work on the offensive glass. He is especially a priority for Nebraska because he totaled a whopping 14 offensive rebounds in the Huskers' two meetings with PSU. 3. Use the grind to your advantage Making a run in a conference tournament is always a challenge. But if any team in the history of college basketball is prepared for the task, it's Nebraska. After returning from a month-long COVID-19 pause on Feb. 6, the Huskers went on to play 14 games in 30 days. But crazy things happen in March, and NU is as battle-tested as anyone in the Big Ten.
