In my opinion, folks are underestimating how well coached Michigan is. They will be coming off a game in the Garden already, so used to shooting there. They will be a 3-4 point favorite over us. Penn St. while much more talented, also takes dumber shots and is not nearly as well coached. I would be careful wanting Michigan too badly.

We are going to probably need that tourney win, unless we are the 4 seed and they look and say, damn these guys were top 4 in the Big Ten. That warrants a bid. I know, I know, they allegedly don't look at conference standing, but they will see that double bye when looking at tourney brackets. It is impressive. But we gotta have the crowd into these games, and not be deflated. There is no margin for error.

More than ever we need them to win now IMO. We are not making it if we don't beat them, so we need it to be a high profile win plus helps metrics more since play twice.

Yes this does happen a lot, as they get small middles that hit often enough to offset some of that juice. I do know one basket of movers has been on Nebraska a lot this year. I am not sure, but I suspect that they have something to do with some of the line movements. Especially when sharks get limits reduced at a book, they are perfect for using to do this, as their knowledge leads to more line movement than an unknown guy betting the same amount, which sets up a better line for the group to hammer later on. They make these plays at sites that are not "on screen" books, which are books that will not affect the line, like books most of you that wager play at. The false plays are made at on screen books ofcourse. It is interesting and a never ending cat and mouse game between players and books.

Over time, it is not a good sign at all line moving against us. We need to defy it one more time.

I know Cincinnati had their seed dropped due to late season Kenyon Martin injury, so there is a history of impact, but not sure if it would vary or not in regards to getting in. In my opinion it should not, but again there is reason to believe that it could.
