I think you've forgotten how good Northwestern's free-throw defense is. (8-of-30, remember?) -

Just another opportunity for these guys to understand each other and to understand what it takes to play in the Big Ten. Hopefully we'll have enough talent and experience next year to turn a few of these losses into victories, to take a few more games down to the wire, to not get thrown around like rag dolls in the paint, to make the big plays in a clutch moments, to not wilt when the going gets tough. I saw fight tonight, but that's about it. Just keep sawin' wood. -

You see how ready-made Cockburn was for the Big Ten, and now watching Hunter Dickinson, and I yearn for someone who can just come in as a freshman and be physically ready and skilled enough to compete against these guys. We have Eduardo Andre, and he has great upside, but it's a project. For Nebrasketball, it's always a project. -

You're thinking of Wyoming. They call it "Prairie Gold and Mountain Brown." Flush it. -

It seems to me that bulk gets away with a lot in the Big Ten. Subtle moves by really strong players can create so much space that it becomes really difficult to respond. And if Kelly Pfieffer is on the whistle, it's tough to respond without getting rung up. -

Better at pushing people around and not getting called: Harrar or Cockburn? Imma go with Harrar. -

Loved that final action. Really tough to execute the roll off the leg and out to Webster, but we got it done. -

You don't spell "Thor" B-A-N-T-O-N. -
From a spectator's standpoint, Teddy is pretty much the only reason to watch. With him, we're a bad team major conference team with a single entertaining player. Without him, we are an unwatchable mess, a bad mid-major.

From the New York Times, Feb. 9, 2021. A short excerpt: I don’t remember when I first learned about semicolons, nor do I have a mental list of remarkable semicolons in literature. I don’t want to have to treasure them, though the typical advice for writers of all levels is to use them sparingly, as if there’s a limited supply. This only breeds fear, which in turn breeds stigma: Semicolons are ugly, pretentious and unnecessary; they immaturely try to have it both ways. There are so many things to fear in life, but punctuation is not one of them. That semicolons, unlike most other punctuation marks, are fully optional and relatively unusual lends them power; when you use one, you are doing something purposefully, by choice, at a time when motivations are vague and intentions often denied. And there are very few opportunities in life to have it both ways; semicolons are the rare instance in which you can; there is absolutely no downside.

I'm pretty sure Andre Almeida was a McDonald's All-American. And a KFC All-American. And an Arby's All-American. And a Wendy's All-American. And I have no doubt, that if such a thing existed, Thor would have been a McDonald's All-Icelander.

For example, Yvan gets an offensive board once for every eight minutes on the court. Derrick Walker has 12 in 193 minutes, or one offensive rebound every 16 minutes on the court. In other words, Derrick may be more effective offensively overall, but his ability to grab offensive rebounds is about half as good as Yvan's. Teddy gets an offensive board once every 22 minutes, while Banton gets one every 26 minutes, Shamiel every 25 minutes, and Lat every 31 minutes.
