Considering he's from Indy it's a little surprising that he didn't choose Purdue or Indiana True, but considering that Crean and, especially Painter, will be on the hot seat next year, I'm not shocked. Just my opinion.

Probably didn't phrase my question clearly. I'm talking about players who had big impacts at other schools that could have been ours, not talking about their height. For an example, I don't know if we sought him, but what about Bob Boozer in the 50's?

Who do you believe was the biggest recruit in the history NU basketball that we missed out on? A player that we had a very good chance to get, but for some reason, we couldn't secure.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Miles told Agau that NU is not a backup option if things didn't work out at Louisville? I would find that hard to believe. Also, if Agau did transfer here, would he be eligible immediately or would he still have to sit out a year? I believe if Agau would transfer to any school, it would be next year. Agau knew he wouldn't be getting minutes this year when he committed to Louisville, but next year will be a different story, IMO. If he doesn't get much more playing time next year, Agau might be willing to move on.

I'm not skeptical at all. Tarin is not a mariginal player, I predict he will make an immediate impact.

My perspective is probably skewed, but listening to Bishop and Bahe constantly talking up Creighton all year as if they are the UCLA teams of the 1970's has turned me off. I really wouldn't mind seeing Creighton lose tommorrow simply because of those two and 1620. I don't hate Creighton, most of their fans I know are cool. Just Bishop and Bahe are irritating to me, I guess.

First time posting on this site, please go easy on me. M.J. Rhett, a 6'8, 235 lb PF, will be transferring from Tennessee State. He averaged 11 and 9 this year for the Tigers. Since Rhett was redshirted his freshman year, he would be eligible to play immediately.
