2012 NU-Indiana

Just a heads-up, this game replay is currently available on Big Ten Network on Demand, if your satellite/cable service provides on demand - fun to watch that one again, pretty amazing comeback by NU.

 

Some similarities to tonight - that Indiana team was ranked #13 but entered the game having lost a couple in a row - Nebraska was 1-5 in the league and around .500 overall. Hopefully we'll get a similar outcome as well. 

 

Of course the biggest difference is that was a veteran NU team versus this season's really young team. I don't think a single Husker who played in that game is playing now, just 2 seasons later. Hard to believe.

Well, Gallegos was redshirting that year and Rivers had lost some confidence from early in the season and went through a period of not seeing the floor similar to this year.  And those are the only two carry overs from the Sadler era.  So, yep, I have to agree there probably wasn't anyone from that Husker team who's still around.
