AuroranHusker Posted February 21, 2023 Report Posted February 21, 2023 Great man passed away at 81, Bill Holliday. Bill remains the state's all-time leading scorer at 2,748 points in 89 games (graduated in '60). His prowess on the court was incredible enough, yet he was an even better coach, in Aurora & several other communities; and, despite becoming paralyzed in '88, Coach Holliday remained Loomis' head basketball coach another 18 years after that. What an remarkable person we lost, and heaven gained, yesterday. Here's his obit: https://www.auroranewsregister.com/obituaries/william-holliday HB 1 Quote
