  1. I'd say we played pretty well at Creighton.
  2. Can we get one charge/block call to go our way this year? It seems like we are always getting the wrong side of the calls.
  3. Defense will give us a chance to win. Points allowed Minnesota 68 (avg. 85.0) -17 Creighton 75 (avg. 90.2) -15 Kansas 73 (avg. 88.1) -15
  4. These last 2 games have shown this team getting better, and better.
  5. This is Nebrasketball in a nutshell
  6. No Palmer, no Palmer, no Palmer, YES PALMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Thomas Allen, difference maker in the Big 10!! Just shooting ability alone
  8. Need to love the rim, and like the 3 in the 2nd half.
  9. My problem with Roby's call is on one of KU's offensive rebounds, 35 sends an elbow to the chest of Taylor to box him out. That was not a foul, but on Roby's rebound, 44 slaps his arm down on Roby's and Roby gets called for the foul.
  10. All in all, not the worst half of the season. Within 3, despite Watson getting only 8 minutes, due to horrible officiating.
  11. The refs get a standing ovation for actually calling a foul on Kansas. I didn't think it was a possible, and have to make sure it's not an offensive foul on Nebraska. Coming out of the timeout, it might get overturned.
  12. Finally, after the center for KU was in the lane for 15 seconds on that possession they call him for 3 seconds.
  13. Considering Kansas is already in the bonus, and KU has maybe one foul called on them, odds are it's going to be Miles.
  14. In order to get the center in foul trouble, Kansas has to be called for ONE foul.
  15. Watson's 2nd foul was nearly as bad as his fifth foul against CU. KU has had their hands on our guards all game, and Gill gets a touch foul at the top of the key.
  16. Did they do away with the 3 second rule? KU's center has pitched a tent in the lane the whole game.
  17. Seriously, you can NOT stop of the game to allow the defender to put on his shoe, while the team is in their offense.
  18. I don't know if it was the "pedigree" of the team or the fact it was the "home team", but Creighton definitely got the benefit of the doubt. On a side note, this whole verticality crap is bullcrap. You should not get a foul called if the offensive guy runs into you why you keep your hands vertical. No problem with that part. However, even if you keep your hands vertical, you can not move your feet forward. Creighton players were doing that on 2 of Nebraska's made baskets down the stretch. Should have an and-1 on both of them.
  19. So, the ref under the basket, 5 feet from the play, calls a basket and a foul on Creighton. He is overruled by the ref sitting on the Creighton bench?
  20. Here's what I don't understand. Copeland knocks the ball back, and I guess it is a rule that you can go get the ball in the backcourt if you knocked it back there. However, Copeland grabs the ball and 15 literally grabs his ankle. Yet, that isn't a foul, but Watson's fifth is a foul?
  21. I agree with most things what you are saying. However, disagree on the defense, they held two really good offenses well under their season averages.
  22. Under the basket vantage point, it was NOT a foul. Which makes the call worse. That's the ref that called it. I could see Tim not seeing what happened
  23. We think the refs were bad today, wait until Billy gets ahold of them.
