Locked in an official for Colorado football game weekend. Will be on campus with Bynum and West. Pretty big weekend for 2025s

Game against Loyola would be the most beneficial for the Non-Con SOS. Unfortunate they’re on the other side of the bracket, but that would be a good matchup for the final.

Dropped a very fun pod with Ali Farokhmanesh. Could talk to that dude for hours about just about anything. One of the best people I know. May be a little too inside baseball on Colorado State and the Mountain West for some folks, but there’s some golden stories and great tidbits about Niko Medved. Have another old friend whose now coaching in the Mountain West coming up soon.

Keisei played 19 minutes against Germany in a friendly 8 days ago and had 2 points on 1-10 shooting (0-7 from 3) in that game. Certainly expected to see him log more than 49 seconds of clock today.

Believe they'll want him to be as well rounded as possible.

Have not been able to see any practices or workouts. Covering hoops is my side job so I haven’t been able to make it to any of the summer media availabilities either unfortunately. Right now I’m buying any and all Nick Janowski stock that I can buy. On paper, I’m far more intrigued by this team on paper than I was by this past season’s group before the year. All the vibes have been good, but it’s also July.

I completely agree with this. The best looking basketball specific gear I’ve seen is the 3 years worth of it that I got being a part of the program. Think there could be much better merchandising for all sports, especially in the arena and in and around Lincoln.

What’s going on everybody. Figured I’d fire up an account on the board to be amongst the basketball folks in the dog days of summer. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m entering my third full season covering Nebraska Basketball for Huskers Illustrated magazine. I also host a basketball podcast, The Stretch Big with Jacob Bigelow. You may have also heard me randomly popping in on 1620 over the last year or so on either the morning or midday shows. In my college years I was a student manager for the basketball program at Nebraska under Coach Miles. Planning to be around this summer and fall leading into the new season. If anybody’s got some off-season questions, would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability. Happy to be here.
