Top 4 still would. Right now, the first round is only three games. Rounds 2 & 3 are four games. It doesn't seem like one more team would affect much, the gym isn't going to be packed for the 1st round. Maybe it is to protect potential bubble teams? The 8 or 9 gets a win without a pesky 16-seed beating both.

Strange they didn't go with 16 teams. Top 8 seeds get byes. 9-16 play in the first round. First round could start at noon. The way it is now the 2 seed might be better over the 1 seed. If the 7 seed gets beat you have a team on their third game.

2nd question: Did Washington have a ball hit the bottom of the shot clock and go in? It was when they were making everything. It looked like the ball bounced up and hit something then went in. Seemed like a really weird bounce.

That's what winning teams do. In the first half it just felt like if we could start defending and get some stops. Our next two games are tough. Getting just one would be big but two would be huge. Looking at the schedule looks like we may have to get at least one more road win. Hopefully we just start a big win streak here. Great energy to start the 2nd half and had the game tied in the first 4 minutes. Brice with the dagger three was sweet. Then the smooth layup. Essegian's three with 6 minutes left to push the lead to seven was another one. Those are the kind of shots winning teams make.
