Just saw we went from 45 to 62 in KenPom too. Losing is one thing, but losing like that hurts a lot especially when talking metrics. Still early in the season, but we can't let this carry over into the Indiana game. Indiana is almost a must win to me considering how hard it is to win on the road in conference. Plus, you add bad officiating to the mix and it makes it even harder. Hopefully, this was just a bad game, and we can get back on track next week. GBR! -

Not the best news, but hopefully he uses his additional year of eligibility. I'm guessing he would have just left if he really wasn't considering that additional year. It's looking like Morgan will be our starter at the 5 spot at the moment. I still think we need another PF with some eligibility left though. I trust the staff will do a good job finding someone to fill that role.

Okpara to Tennessee. That was fast.

Not too mention, what more does a guy like him have to prove, at least at Creighton? Sure, there is the money part of staying around, but he is a 3-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year. I also don't think his offensive production will jump much higher at Creighton either considering the type of offense they play. To me, you are just risking injury at this point by staying at Creighton.

I will be there Saturday with my family. I am hoping Messi plays Saturday, that's why we bought the tickets. Either way, should be fun to watch. Also, I'm guessing Messi plays tomorrow against Monterrey too. He didn't play against them last time and they will need all of their stars to play if they want to move on in Champions Cup. -
Agree. Product of todays world unfortunately. Kid had potential too.

Tough game to watch, but the season wasn't a failure. The casual fan will say it was, but we had a lot of good things happen this year. We just got a bad draw (can probably thank Trev for that) and ran into a team that was way more athletic than us and of course shot lights out when they normally don't. I just hope it doesn't take 10 more years to get back to this point. To me, we need to get more athletic and get an actual rim protector, maybe that is Diop if he stays around, but I'd like to see us get a proven one out of the portal if we can, to pair with Mast. Not sure we can count on Blaise to stay healthy either. It would also be nice to see us incorporate a change of pace defense that we actually use next year when things start going sideways, like a 1-3-1 or a 3-2 or even apply a 2-2-1, 3 quarters court pressure when we can. Just my opinion though. Good season overall and hopefully we can keep most of the core around and add pieces we need to make another run next year. GBR! -
