Last time we played them they blew us out. this time it was pretty competitive most of the way. I was really impressed considering it's the 3rd game in a row. I hope we don't get the dreaded 8 or 9 seed. 10 would be better.

We played a good 1st half. We're getting killed by their big girl with her rebounds and putbacks though.

I know I complain about coach Williams but damn it, she gets us to the big dance about every year.

I like Nissley. I just don't want her to dribble

I just said Nissley shouldn't dribble and there she dribbles and gets it taken away. Stupid!!

Nissley should not be allowed to dribble. Almost all year whenever she dribbles something bad happens. I like her shooting but no dribbling

Good game for us. When we hit our 3s we can beat most teams we play. We need to stay hot again tomorrow.

I was hoping this year our new pitchers would be better than average, but they are not. When Jordy isn't pitching, we have to score a lot of runs. When we face average pitchers we seem to hit the crap out of the ball. When we come up against better than average pitchers we have a hard time even making contact with the ball. Strike out way too much. I feel for Jordy when she pitches against good pitching because she gets very little (if any) help from her batters.

That's one of the things that bothers me with Coach Williams. Basketball 101 says if a player is hot, you try and them the ball, you don't take them out unless they are tired or in foul trouble. This is something that Williams always seems to do.

Playing defense is optional today. I'm surprised bug eater hasn't said they're still sick as an excuse for their poor play.

I feel sorry for Jordy. The defense blew a 5 to 0 lead in the Texas tech game. Today she throws a no hitter in 7 innings. Unfortunately her teammates can't provide her one run. After last week I thought we had a pretty good hitting team but apparently not against good pitching.

When this game started out and we were behind 10 to nothing And Britt Prince is not playing I honestly didn't think we were going to have a chance at winning. Markowski usually has a hard time against much taller players than her so I didn't think she'd have a good night. Boy was I wrong. Kudos to the whole team!!

I've played football, basketball, track and field, golf and tennis in high school and later in my life. Many times in my life I have felt under the weather and still played. I just hated to miss any game. And suprisingly many times I had really good games. I just sucked it up. If I couldn't give 100% and was hurting my team I pulled myself out. I assume Bryce Williams just sucked it up and gave his all and looked pretty good doing it. As far as Essegian goes, I don't know how being sick bothered him a lot or not. He is such a hot and cold shooting guy. What hurt the most was missing Berke. I was wondering if Maryland women were sick. After the first quarter they looked sick.

First of all, I hate when a team loses people want to use the sick excuse. If they are able to be on the court they aren't that sick. Yesterday the announcers on the men's game kept saying how sick Williams and Essigian were. Yet Williams had another great game. Secondly I don't understand what your "I'm not buying your BS" is about?? Thirdly I don't give a shit what you think.

The last 3 games we got embarrassed. We looked terrible. The way this game started it definitely looked like another embarrassment. Thankfully our 3 point shooting got hot. 12 for 21. When we get hot on 3's (like many teams), there's a very good chance we will win. Also Markowski was making most of her bunnies. I wish we could shoot like that every game but we don't. I still stand by we need better players if we are going to be competing to be in the top 1/4th instead of usually in the middle of the pack.

After the way we started this game it looked bad. I gotta say I'm shocked on how this game ended up. I wish they played like this always. Kudos to the whole team.

I wonder what our scoring percentage is when we're holding the ball for the last shot of a quarter. It seems we hold the ball and end up taking a terrible shot or we lose it and don't even get a shot off

That's typical coach Williams strategy when substituting. If you're doing well you get substituted out.

Looks like another embarrassment going to happen. We need to recruit a lot better players
