  1. First 8 minutes of the second half will tell the tale of the game. One team will make a run, and the other team might or might not answer. I feel good.
  2. All tied up at 36 at half. Would you guys knock off the negative vibes? Huskers win by double digits.
  3. Kent sounds like he's watching a horror movie where the stupid blonde won't get out of the way when the axe killer is coming her way. Lighten up Kent. It'll be alright.
  4. Up 3. Rutgers on a run. Time to answer.
  5. Up 8! Brice is playing...
  6. Lawrence, so far so good!
  7. This could be a 142-140 game...
  8. Were you applying for the pharmaceutical college?
  9. For whatever reason, I'm not nervous about this game at all. Not sure what that means. I think I know, but I'm not sharing.
  10. I agree completely. Our board has personality. We have a lot of insiders and coaches/experts that post all the pertinent information. Those of us who aren't, try to keep it entertaining. I think it's a perfect mix!
  11. Back then it wasn't Helen's. It was Jack's. However, Helen and her husband Don owned the Texaco gas station and cafe/bar at that time, located on the east end of town. You would have known it as the Korner Bar. They could have eaten there, being the first place they'd see. I've talked to people who worked there when the Interstate was being built. They made a killing on food and gasoline! Timing is everything. Killing was probably the wrong word...
  12. I might have shared this before. If so, I apologize. Starkweather's route to Wyoming was on Highway 34. No I 80 back then. My family had a farm and a farmhouse right on Highway 34, just outside of Hampton. They drove right past our house. I say "our" me being a gleam in Dad's eye. . You just never know.
  13. So you're the person I shake my head and fist at?
  14. Not a new passing, but this guy is really good! He does a great video about Randy Meisner. Well worth the watch!
  15. My online source isn't necessarily to be believed, but it looks like Rutgers is a 2 point favorite.
  16. Okay, I'm a Paul Simon fanatic. I absolutely love this song, but I wasn't going to post it until I ran across this video. Watch the stiff in the upper right hand corner of the screen. He knows Paul Simon is a low life that has no right to be in his presence. Kind of like the B1G mentality concerning Nebraska.
  17. From New Brunswick, New Jersey. Have to admit, this state put out some good music.
  18. One of the best videos from the mid 80's! Paul Simon kicks butt!
  19. Okay, this is slightly a stretch, John Sebastian was born in NYC. However, he graduated from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey. There's something special at 6 o'clock. Rutgers can't say that since they're on Eastern time. GBR! I love the stereo separation! Takes me back...
  20. After we beat Rutgers....
