You should not TP his housePlayer to watch: Melo TrimbleThe 6'3" freshman is probably the 2nd best rookie in the league and one of the best at getting to the line, shooting a ridiculous 179 FTs so far. Additionally he's a 39% 3pt shooter when he doesn't feel like driving or passing to teammates. The SkinnyMaryland was picked to finish in the bottom tier but behind former McDonalds All-American Trimble along with Dez Wells and Jake Layman they've formed a trio like Nebraska's except everyone is better. The Terps also have some girth in the paint as well as some complimentary pieces that rounds out a squad competing for 2nd in the B1G. This is fairly bad matchup for Nebraska's strengths as they're essentially playing a more talented version of themselves on the road. The Huskers should be able to find their way into the lane but need to take their time to make shots instead of bracing for contact that won't be there. No doubt we've been tinkering with our offense so hopefully we will yield some better road results. Seems like a lot to ask at this point to expect us to score over 60. Can we throttle a team like this on their home court?Prediction: Maryland 68 Nebraska 56 Click here to view the article atskooc and Silverbacked1 2 Quote
Red Don Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Tough Game coming up @ Maryland, tied (with Purdue) for 2nd place in B1G. Maryland is tough at home (15-1 on the season) but has had their share of close games; their last three home games being decided by a total of nine points. This is a first-ever meeting of the two teams (with a season-ending rematch in Lincoln). Huskers Desperately Need a Road Win! Anything can happen!
