Somebody will know this - last time NU has beaten two Sweet 16 teams in the same season previously?

My parents always told me not to ask questions that I was too lazy to look up on my own.

 

Looks like 1997 was the last time - beat Iowa St in OT in Ames and Texas at home. Not the year I would have guessed. We also lost in OT at Kansas that season.

 

Came close in 2004 too, beat Kansas at home, lost tight games at Texas and at Okie Lite.
