  1. 1. Which special teams play was worse?

    • Solich's fake punt in the 2002 Independence Bowl against Ole Miss (Nebraska leading 20-17 in the 4th quarter, fake punt on 4th and 12 from the NU 35 fell incomplete and turned the ball over on downs. Ole Miss scores a TD on the ensuing possession and went on to win 27-23.)

    • Frost's onside kick in the 2022 Northwestern matchup in Dublin (Nebraska leading 28-17 in the 3rd quarter attempts a squib kick, recovered by Northwestern at the Husker 45. Northwestern scores a TD on the ensuing possession. Huskers never score again and Northwestern goes on to win 31-28.)

If the onside kick was recovered by Illinois in Dublin, I would say that's pretty amazingly epic!

That would be like the greatest play in CFB history.

"Whoa! Shit, did you just see that? Illinois recovered the onside kick!"

That would rank up there with the Stanford band play.
