This very long article in the January 16 edition of Grantland is an extemely interesting read for all of you old timers who have a lot of time on your hands. It is titled The Comeback and features the life and fate of one Jo Jo Hunter who played at BDSC for the Colorado Buffaloes. Unfortunately, I can not figure how to leave a link, but I'm sure those who have an interest can find it.

I remember JoJo hitting a last second shot to keep the Cornhuskers from going to the Big Eight finals in Kansas City when the first game was an on campus play in round. I always thought he was one of the best opponents to play at the Bob. The article really makes one think about what happens to these guys we watch from the stands once the athletic glory fades, and how little we spectators really know about them once we leave our comfortable seats and go home. I truly wish the best for Mr. Hunter.
