49r Posted February 28, 2017 Report Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) For those who didn't know, Colorado State is in a heated battle for the Mountain West crown this year despite all of the controversy surrounding coach Eustachy, in no small part to the courage of Emmanuel Omogbo, a young man who if you remember tragically lost members of his family to a house fire just about a year ago. Fast forward to the game Saturday night against the powerhouse San Diego State Aztecs, a game that CSU needed to win to keep pace with Nevada atop the league standings. CSU found themselves down by double-digits for the majority of the game until late in the second half they found themselves down just two and needed a last second shot from Omogbo to tie or win. Here's how it happened: Afterwords, this shot was taken of Emmanuel: I've been watching CSU play when I can and they are an exciting bunch to watch. Led by Gian Clavell and Omogbo, if you need a good story to root for in March, one could do worse than the CSU Rams. Edited February 28, 2017 by 49r AuroranHusker, hhcmatt and PimpMario 3 Quote
PimpMario Posted February 28, 2017 Report Posted February 28, 2017 I will cheer for CSU in the mw. UNO is the 3 seed in the summit tournament, they are my second favorite team. Quote
