As with most Ohio St games, but at the end clung to a 1 point lead with just a second to go. The unthinkable happened as Marc Loving scored the last of his 15 points with an easy inbounds play after Glynn Watson was tripped up in a switch. The Skinny For the second consecutive season Ohio St finds themselves on the skids, this time in the midst of a season that will give Thad Matta his first losing B1G record in his 13 years in Columbus. This Saturday night is a matchup of two teams fighting to stay out of the B1G play-in portion of the tournament. Ohio St should have a decent Saturday crowd but this isn't the same Buckeye team that has crushed Nebraska in Columbus. Defensively, it's about keeping the Buckeyes to a normal shooting night while not fouling too much. The key to Nebraska defeating this team is outscoring the Buckeyes and expect the Huskers to run their offense straight into the paint regardless of who is protecting it. It's tempting to think the Huskers can build on their big win over Penn St but basketball rarely works out that way. It seems likely that Nebraska will finally stop getting destroyed in Columbus. Can they straight up win? Prediction: Ohio St 73 - Nebraska 67 View full article throwback 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 We need to play a clean game and hopefully continue our hot shooting from the PSU game. Quote
Blackshirt83 Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 From what I can tell Buckeye fans have completely thrown in the towel on this season. Quote
