  4. Put me in the crowd, really glad Nicea decided to become a Husker and not fall for Colorado's scare tactics. She's been a great surprise and has opened my eyes for what she can do on the court. Really glad to hear she likes being a Husker!
  5. Gotta play hard both on defense and offense for twenty minutes. Can't afford to have any players take any plays off if we're going to win this one.
  6. Huskers down 5 at the half 41-36. Casio Jensen with 10 and Shepard with 10 also. Huskers getting beat down the court and gave up to many lay-ups.
  7. Coming soon to an arena near us!

  10. I'm jealous. Did you get to see the other Husker connection sitting on the ASU bench? The ASU student assistant is none other than Husker great Lindsey Moore!
  11. IIRC, I thought I heard the announcer say the last four times the Huskers have played in Champaign it's been a "pack the house" free ticket give away. Of all those games prior, this was the first time the Huskers have come out on the wrong end. Watching the Illinois post game press conference their coach was going gaga over the amount of fans that showed up. He had two players sitting at the podium also and he couldn't get them out of there fast enough to go mingle and sign autographs for all the little kids that showed up!
  12. Although the Husker's or the state of Nebraska doesn't have a recruit or player participating in this years McDonald's All-American game, the Nebraska girls high school will be represented by Sandy Creek's Russ Ninemere as he was named the head coach of the West All-American team in the McDonald's All-Star game next March yesterday. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/mcdonalds-unveils-team-rosters-coaches-040000455.html
  13. Outscored 34 - 14 the last 13 and a half minutes in the game! Very disappointed on both ends of the court! This was a game we had a good chance to win! Where the heck is Allie Havers hiding? Thought for sure this was a game she should dominate especially since she stood taller than any Illini player by 4 inches!! To only grab 2 rebounds and score 4 points is not going to get done! Good game from Hannah, Grace, Nicea and Jess Defense seems to be optional at various times of the game!
  14. Poor substitution by the coach costs us a 6 point deficit! Now we're down 9!
  15. Huskers down by one 34 - 33 at the half. We're in good shape but need our big girls to take over the game! Whitish with 4 three pointers.
  16. Hannah Whitish on fire 3 for 3 behind the arc! Huskers lead 17 - 15 the after 1st quarter.
  17. 7-6 Huskers after the 1st time out. Huskers have put up 4 air balls so far.
  18. Time for our big girls down under to step up and give us a monster game today both in scoring and rebounding!
  19. Gameday! Let's get this one!
