  1. One could also say Collier did us a favor by taking another job before being fired so we didn't have to pay him.
  2. Sai's are on the lower left ... Saw them at Lazlo's in the Haymarket yesterday
  3. I was an upper bleachers guy and offered $250 per seat and ended up in $100 donation territory ... Section 120 near the last rows.
  4. I think it kind of makes sense to link the conference more prominently to Chicago. Would help lock down the Chicago talent that tends to leave the area for some reason as well. Financially it probably makes sense too ... But just in terms of enjoyment for the actual event it's Indy hands down. There is little to nothing around the United Center - between sessions there is one large tent in the parking lot but nothing else. The public transport in Chicago is great but it's an added pain overall. Yes there's more to do in Chicago but honestly there's not really much time for anything other than basketball if you're going to all of the games. I would come back here but overall enjoy Indy's setup more.
  5. http://www.lostlettermen.com/b1g-needs-to-boot-indianapolis-for-chicago/ I don't agree with everything in this article but it makes a lot of good points.
  6. When Andre was in the game today we immediately lost our lead and rhythm in half court offense. Two immediate turnovers as well and I was figuring he'd be benched for the rest of the game and he was.
  7. Apparently it is further to get to the United Center from hotels than Indy and Bankers Life. Instead of five minutes it is more like thirty. I have been to the last 2 B1G tourneys. It feels like less of an event in Chicago. Indy seems like it goes all out, but I guess Chicago is a much larger city so that makes sense. In Indy EVERYTHING is right there near the arena. Indy is the perfect setup for events. In Chicago it takes about 30 minutes to get to the United Center via public transport. Everything is walking distance in Indy. Bankers Life is more of a basketball centric arena and has better overall sight lines - it's also newer. Not much around the United Center in terms of food/nightlife/hotels and there was one beer tent in the parking lot. Overall I'd say it feels more at home in Indy but Chicago is one of my favorite cities and it is the conference headquarters and has a larger arena. Can't go wrong with either but I'd give Indy the nod.
