I think our pitching was a product of our opponents lack of offensive prowess. We have not looked good this weekend on the mound.

Our defense has been a struggle this inning. I thought Banjoff probably had a chance at the 1st ball, and Chick threw a 5 foot throw 20 feet, and Efry is no where near the ball when he should have been expecting bunt.

We could chip away at the lead, or we could just hit a Grand Slam and tie it!!

Keep chipping away (Acker bomb!!) and keep holding them. 4 - 1 bottom of 3rd.

It looked like right in the middle of the 2. They both were there at about the same time. At least it didn't cost us.

Really could of used a run that inning. Need to keep them at 4 and start chipping away.

It should be Hallmark I thought. He is the CF who needs to lead the OF. Maybe he heard Acker calling it, and Acker heard him calling it, but neither called it.

I hope the bullpen is ready, as well as the bats. Hroch is not going to last very long today.

Who gets the error? Acker or Hallmark? That's basically why it was a hit. It was poor team play as no one called the other off.

Brice has had a tough day in the field. He had been pretty clean through his first 10 games.

Get Matthews in and give Spencer the rest of the day off. He is the one player we can't lose.

Our pitching has been a pleasant surprise. This, with missing two pretty talented arms in Gomes and Perry.

He will. He throws upper 90's. He would have to develop a breaking pitch, but he will surely get a look at pitcher.

Minnesota is not a good team. I would say we took advantage, and made them pay. I think it's more of Minnesota falling apart, than anything we are doing. Still, if we hold on it's still a win.

I don't even know why you try it. The catcher is running to 1st. Should be an easy play. Matthews who just beat out a nearly routine play is running to 2nd. Almost cost Minnesota a run.

I think Matthews won the race to 2nd. The ump was calling him out no matter what, though.

Maybe the Sac Bunt will get Efry going like it did Roskam. Since the 2nd game of the Iowa series, when Roskam laid down a bunt, he is 5 - 9 with a double, home run 3 RBI's.

It really depends if you want Bragg to start an inning or clean up a mess.
