We can debate that, but it's over and we melted down in the inning to give them a 3 - 1 lead. Now, we are in big trouble.

Have we played baseball before!!! That inning was atrocious!! We had a walk, an error in CF, nobody covering 2nd, a WP that allowed 2 runs to score because overthrow the pitcher covering 2nd, and now are down 3 - 1. You can't do this to good teams. You can't even do that to average teams. We played with an edge for the first 2 innings, and now melted down.

He gets the bunt down, and we are ahead 2 - 0 with Mojo's fly ball to left. Now, we are tied 1 - 1, and are melting down. Booting the ball, and walking guys.

Beating them twice would actually satisfy me.

I would flip those fans off also. I was happy with being in the regional final. Now, it's war. We can't beat Arkansas by enough runs to satisfy me.

I like the hatred coming from the fans. We seem to want to play the "Bad boys" tonight.

I don't like Shay matching up with Arkansas. He tends to be a little wild, and is more of a flyball pitcher. Not a good recipe against Arkansas. I would give the ball to Shay against NJIT.

If nothing else, this experience will help with the freshmen. Right now, they are hitting like freshmen. Anderson, Matthews, and Steil are a combined 2 - 15 with 6 k's and only 1 BB

Banjoff's strike out was horrible. Pitches closer to crossing the plate were balls all night. Our strike zone pitching was tight. I still think we probably lose, but the 6th inning was the killer. Up to that point we had only allowed 1 walk to come around to score. So, walks didn't kill us prior to that point. We can't give the # 1 team 10 walks, a HBP, and commit 2 errors and expect to win. Need to put this behind us, and get a strong outing from Shay or Perry. They need to give us some outs. Our bats should be ready to face a #3 pitcher for NJIT. It will come down to shutting down the other team.

Why Arkansas chooses to swing the bat is perplexing. The chances of this ump of calling 3 strikes before 4 balls are 1 trillion to 1.

Everitt has to call for a pitch out, but the pitcher doesn't get the signal. Greg Maddux would have 12 walks with this strike zone Arkansas gets while batting.
