Looks like a nice crowd. Time to give them something to cheer for this quarter.

The play by play guy on BTN didn't do his homework. It was almost comical. He called Nicea, "Nikka E-lee", Hannah was "Wit - ish", and Jasmine was "Kink kor". Towards the end of the game, you could here Nicea being announced subbing in (correct pronunciation). The BTN guy mentions; "Huskers are emptying the bench". Funny.

Is Les Nessman announcing? Pronunciation is not a strong suit.

Not sure how the game will play out, but have a feeling Darrien, Grace, and Rachel will be key to keeping Gustafson in check. Good time to have a deep, and increasingly experienced roster. If the "stripes" stay neutral, I like our chances.

Playing for both Connie Yori and Amy Williams, is a nice foundation for starters. Both seem to display a grit and determination that should serve them well. Could we see them on the Nebraska bench in a coaching capacity one day? I wouldn't bet against it.

That picture you posted of Nicea stuffing the 3 point try, should be grounds to get rid of that ref.

These kids flat out compete. Very proud of them and the entire staff. That was fun. Nerve racking, but fun.
