I watched a good bit of Delaware St. Hornet basketball, and they resemble nothing that I have watched so far this year tonight. Ten point lead against the 4 seed.

Eliminate Stetson Marist and Delaware St games our RPI is 40 instead of 64. Crazy, considering we won the damn games. SOS would be 59 instead of 96.

A blowout loss could have them in trouble. We definately need St. Mary's at all costs if Gonzaga loses early game

Need to root for middle to get bounced in first game and then probably root for them. Western Kentucky I think we root to get bounced as long as middle is in the tournament

If the quadrants used average of the 6 metrics instead of asinine RPI, here is how our quadrants would change. Nebraska good Penn St. A q1 instead of q2 loss St. Johns q1 instead of q2 loss Penn St H q2 instead of q3 win NW q2 win instead of q3 win Minny A q2 win instead of q3 win Minny H q3 win instead of q4 win Illinois A q2 loss instead of q3 loss Illinois H q3 win instead of q4 win Rutgers H Q3 win instead of q4 win bad long beach q4 win instead of q3 win We also would be extremely close to having a q1 road win at Wisconsin. They are 77th in average of the metrics so possible that could still slide to a q1 win. It is criminal how bad the Big 10 is deflated in this ridiculous RPI.

We would be 15 spots higher in the RPI if we had not played Delaware St. If that doesn't speak to how pathetic that metric is, then nothing does.

We dodged the Mo Valley without issue.

I think, if they were going to take a 5th team from our league it is easier to take us and our "clean" but not great resume, that has an incredible 13-5 Big Ten Record attached to it. There are very few bubble teams and a whole bunch of teams that are locks that would not have been able to do that against our schedule in the league. No way in hell teams like Texas, Oklahoma, UCLA, St. Bonaventure, RI, Az st, Utah, North Carolina St, Syracuse, Kansas St., Baylor, St. Mary's, Providence, Seton Hall, Butler etc could have done that. It is a hell of a tough thing to do. Teams in our league like to compete hard. The will to win is as high in our league as any. We had to play so well to do it, that I would say we would have very little chance to do it again if we had to play it again. But we did it this time and that should have us in the tournament.

Sorry, if you go 8-10 in the Pac 12, you simply are not a good team, and do not belong in this thing. At some point, some common sense needs to be implemented.
