AuroranHusker Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Nothing "B1G" official but it's still a nice shout-out to Tai's continued improvement. Quote
hhcmatt Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 The continual improvement of Tai Webster has been remarkable as it's amazing he was as bad as he was during his freshman year and amazing at the continual improvement and evolution of his game. He was a kid who simply couldn't shoot, played questionable defense, and was a TO machine of a point guard. He's evolved/worked into one of our better FT shooters, has become a serviceable 3pt shooter to compliment that he's at his best when driving to the hoop. Has he reached his ceiling or does he have yet another leap in him? Quote
AuroranHusker Posted March 7, 2016 Author Report Posted March 7, 2016 99.0 Offensive Rating is legit. Nearly 50% effective field goal percent is also good for a guard. Keep it up, TW#0. Quote

Offensive Rating is a complex formula built off of shooting, rebounding, turnovers, etc. For perspective, here is Shavon's career. Quote

I should have clarified what I meant: In comparison to 76.7 & 83.5, Tai's 99.0 is legit. Not all-time great, of course. I do think Tai is on the road to being a great Senior leader for Nebrasketball, though. Quote

Here is the definition from KenPom of his stat Offensive rating (ORtg): A measure of personal offensive efficiency developed by Dean Oliver. The formula is very complicated, but accurate.
