Husker4theSpurs Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 The portions are really big too ... We find we can split a meal at the arena and have more than enough food (burger or chix strips and fries). The fries are especially good and I'm not a big fry person. The BBQ nachos and the steak sandwich are other things I've tried that were solid. I'm glad someone commented on the paninis as I've wanted to try them. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I actually think the PBA does the Husker Trivia Q & A at halftime on the jumbo screen to drive people out of their seats and toward the concessions. I'm always embarrassed for the team when that is still playing when our opponent comes out to start warming up for the second half. It needs to go. I couldn't disagree more. Sure, sometimes the answers are a bit cheesy (remember these are 18-22 year olds), but I usually get a good chuckle out of their answers, By the way, I'm still waiting for the release of Beneath the Surface with Mike Peltz. I want my copy autographed by the man himself. Peltz is always entertaining, this wk it was a hobby of underwater basket-weaving & knitting. Someone in our row actually thought he was being serious... That was actually Hawkins...also answers seem scripted sometimes. Either that or the kids attempt at being humerous. Yeah, that's right... Peltzy answered offshore fishing as his favorite hobby. Quote
nuled2dance Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I would advise eating at one of the fine places in hay market and just grabbing a drink. The lines move so slow these days. Quote
