I hope our Big 3 can stay out of foul trouble and that we see the same level of focus and toughness from yesterday -

yeah she is so good and somehow still underrated She is like the second-coming of Emily Cady, but even better -

Okay I love how composed Potts is when helping break the press. She is such a Swiss Army knife for this team. Also Markowski putting the game on ice with these post moves at the end -

Yeah White’s decision making can be very questionable, but that rebound + drive and kick out to Nissley (who had just hit a 3 from that same spot) was beautiful! -

Agreed. I know they were trying to “steal” the last minute to avoid a 3rd foul on our 4 best players, but I was holding my breath the whole time lol -

Nebraska looks so good when Jaz, Markowski and Potts all stay on the floor for extended amounts of time.. -
Not a very convincing performance by the Huskers in my opinion. They show flashes of being so deadly on offense and scrappy on defense, but then a switch can flip with multiple soft turnovers and giving up offensive rebounds and open threes. Jaz and Hake played well, and Markowski was solid. They need a better game from Potts and the wing spot to get a win tomorrow.

Thanks - I could have sworn I saw Class of 2025 on her twitter profile, but I've changed the table now to reflect that she is '26 and also guard or G/F

Adding one more offered prospect for 2025 from the KC area (top 100 wing player Aubrey Shaw) + correcting the spelling of Kennadi Williams's name. Edit #2: Ashlyn Koupal is Class of 2026 and listed as a guard in multiple sources. She played extremely well if she was fighting a foot injury! She made a lot of hustle plays, got to the basket and created lots of open shots for teammates. Her inconsistent shooting (from 3pt range and around the basket) is concerning, but if she wasn’t at 100% at the state tournament, then I am impressed with what she was able to do.

Hopefully Prince, Williams and the twins decide to “get the band back together” at UNL in fall 2025. Edit: Adding Jenica Lewis from Iowa to the table of offers. I believe she was named the MVP of the Iowa 5A state tournament this weekend, leading her team to the championship as a sophomore. Very impressive considering the number of DI recruits in Iowa 5A. Apparently Dawn Staley was there watching Bourage and Lewis...seems like both players are going to have their pick of schools. it's insane the level of girls talent that has come out of Iowa in the last decade. The Class A and B finals have been excellent today - 4 well-coached, talented teams with a lot of college-level players. In the B game, I thought Skutt played fantastic defense but was so impressed with how Prince (and Murphy) kept their composure and found ways to pull it out.

I believe she's signed for Grand Canyon (which I think is DI?)

I made a quick table in Google Sheets with the offers that have been mentioned in this thread for class of 2025 and beyond. Is anyone aware of any others? NAME CLASS POS HT HOMETOWN (SCHOOL) STATUS Britt Prince 2024 G 5'11" Elkhorn, NE (Elkhorn North) Signed Kennedi Williams 2024 PG 5'4" Lincoln, NE (Southwest) Signed Amiah Hargrove 2024 F 6'2" Christopher, IL (Christopher HS) Signed Mckenzie Mathurin 2025 G 5'10" Broken Arrow, OK (Broken Arrow HS) Committed Ashlyn Koupal 2025 F 6'3" Wagner, SD (Wagner HS) Offered Neleigh Gessert 2025 G 6'1" Omaha, NE (Millard West) Offered Norah Gessert 2025 G 6'1" Omaha, NE (Millard West) Offered Divine Bourrage 2025 PG 6'0" Davenport, IA (North) Offered

I was impressed with the Gesserts (Norah and Neleigh) after watching them play for the first time today. They are legit 6'1" perimeter players with excellent range and ballhandling for their size. The broadcasters on NCN said that for college, they are a package deal and it will most likely come down to Nebraska vs. Creighton. I think they would be good additions to Nebraska's roster.
-
Britt is having a slightly less dominant game today through 3 quarters vs. Beatrice. Still seems to have about 15 points, 8-10 rebounds, 6-8 assists, and 4-6 steals from what I've seen (without paying full attention to the game on NCN). This is the first of 3 straight games with Husker recruiting implications... 1. Elkhorn North (Prince) vs. Beatrice 2. Millard West (Gessert twins) vs. North Star at 6pm 3. Lincoln Southwest (Williams) vs. Bell West at 8:15pm

She was a bit before my time, so I never got to see her play She must have been great though! If Prince can come anywhere close to reaching that level, it will be a fun 4 years at PBA. The fact that we have to go back 40 years (I believe Ivy was class of 1984) to find the comparison is a good indication of how good Prince could be if things pan out going forward.
-
It’s hard to compare Prince with former NE high school stars without letting those players’ college careers influence the comparison. Nebraska has produced some excellent post players…Markowski, Shepard, Hooper, Emily Cady in the past ten years. Katie Robinette and Carla Bennet a little before that. In terms of guards though, I can’t remember any that come close to Prince in terms of all around game, skill, athleticism, size, etc. There have been good shooters like McCabe (Fremont) and Kastanek (LSE), and some good defenders/slashers like KK Houser, Vonnie Turner and Dominique Kelly. But Prince is significantly better than all of them at this point in her development.
-
Prince is definitely the best perimeter player to come out of Nebraska on the girls side for at least 15-20 years from my perspective, if not the best ever. She scored 33 tonight and only made about 2/7 of her 3-pt shots. She could have easily had 40 and also had 10+ rebounds and 6-8 assists.

Is anyone checking out Nebraska recruits/prospects at the state tournament this week? I watched the two class A games last night: - Kennedi Williams: Quick first step and good ball handler, but her 3 point shooting seems inconsistent and she had a lot of trouble finishing in the lane. I think she can contribute a bit, but will never be a top tier starting player for a good team in the Big Ten. - Very interesting prospect for the future: Addison Medeck at PLSHS…she’s very athletic for a 6’3” freshman and has tons of potential. She reminded me of an unpolished version of Jordan Hooper when she was a freshman at Alliance.
