Hopefully Ashworth is ok, he has a new baby at home and is looking to get that promotion at work. Creighton's upcoming schedule looks tough. Do I root for them to help the NET or not? Nebraska is still working on becoming a great team. If we can start hitting some threes... The next two games aren't automatic. We need to get better. I thought everyone gave us good minutes tonight. There were only a couple turnovers that weren't good. Griffiths in the first half. Then Worster trying to get the ball to Morgan in the 2nd half. Really like those road jerseys!

I'm pretty excited for Nebraska football this week. Don't really know why. Maybe nostalgia. Late November game with bowl implications on the line. Pretend it is for the Orange Bowl instead of just a bowl. Can take down the goalposts with a win. There is way too much anxiety & dread from the fans instead of just having fun.

We were up 4 before that and Essegian missed a wide open three. That stretch probably cost us a 10+ point win against a team that will likely be competing with #3 Gonzaga for the conference championship. I also thought St. Mary's played pretty well yesterday while the Huskers really didn't. I think we can be very good. Hopefully we got the slow Creighton like start out the way with this game. That beginning stretch reminded me of way too many Creighton games. I was waiting for it to get out of hand and it never did. I'm hopeful we can give Creighton a game.

We looked like we are capable of being top 25. I felt like we played poorly a lot of the game today and yet we weren't blown off the floor. We had some chances to extend the lead in the 2nd half but missed shots. I actually like Meah out there at points. I don't really like starting him. He is able to be disruptive on defense. Probably need to do less on offense where he needs to pass the ball (same with Morgan). I don't really like seeing them get the ball away from the basket at the top.

Disappointing. Thought we were going to open it up in the 2nd half. We looked like the better team and then fell apart. Great to fight back and have a chance to tie (I'm kind of confused why Essegian wasn't sitting in a corner as a decoy at least). Thought the crowd kind of disappeared in the 2nd half. Maybe the broadcast? Too small of a venue? Two possession ball game and it seemed like the crowd was just sitting. {Feel like they need a different starting lineup. We need to score much faster and take care of the ball. Worster, Berke, Williams, Gary, Essegian. Or Berke, Williams, Gary, Essegain, Griffiths (bring Worster off the bench). I'm not sure Meah and Morgan need to be getting as many minutes. Worster needs to shoot more 3s. His step back looks smooth.

Missed a huge opportunity there to go up 7.

How does that work in the 2nd half? Say a team loses by one. Do they still reverse it?

I think maybe we need new starters. We've started slow everytime with Meah starting. Our defense loses too many 3-point shooters. I kind of like what the team is starting to look like. Stayed calm and fought back. Hoping for a great Husker 2nd half.
