I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing that Shields is our best player this season. I'll lean towards good thing. I have the feeling that by the end of the season he'll be by far the best player.

I'd take him all day. He's not a bruiser, but he can definitely stretch the floor, has nice footwork, speed, is an excellent shot blocker, and a decent on-ball screener and passer. Looks intelligent too. The shot blocking and dunking are what stood out to me. I want a PF who can block shots and finish ON the rim as opposed to AT the rim. He's not quite the prototypical KState athletic PF we've been talking about, but he probably has enough upside to become one.
