Colorado hoops FINALLY sold out of season tickets this week.  First time ever.  Which is a little bit surprising considering their status as a top 4 (ish) Pac 12 team and having back to back NCAA tourney appearances and their fans' self-proclaimed status as being a hoops school now.  (mostly because their football team is horrifyingly bad)

 

They have a preseason top-25 ranking and a medium-to-smallish 11,000 seat arena, and season ticket prices are in the same neighborhood as Nebraska's (admittedly cheap).

 

And yet, it's taken them until this year to finally do it.

 

Way to go CU!  Go get 'em tiger!

 

But they're still comparing themselves to us.  Huh.  Go figure:

 

I am little peeved Nebraska´s dog**** hoops program just got a 180m arena.

 

That's right, there chuckles!  We got a brand-new arena.  For our dog**** hoops program.

 

AND we sold it out, too.  All 15,200 seats.  In April.  Less than a month after tickets went on sale.
