I hate to say it but this looks to be a saliently bad team. Andy Katz has them sixteenth in the conference. That seems generous. They can't shoot, are startlingly slow afoot, don't distribute the ball well and turn it over to a pathological degree. Other than that, they look great. Friends, this is year six of the Hoiberg experiment. I know he is smart and competitive, but this team is headed back to the bottom where they usually reside. As MichHusker said, '...Hoiberg went into the portal and got next to 0 offensive threats'. How can someone as smart as Hoiberg think these players can compete in the Big Ten? Is it because they are as tall and heavy? They have no chance of defending the opposing guards in the league. They are a team of flat-foots. Wow!
This will likely be the Hoiberg's last year, and it should be.
St. Mary's will run them out of the gym and the CU game will be an all-time laugher (CU by 35+) as it usually is. The A.D. might as well put on his blindfold and spin the available coaching wheel.... Next!
