Leading scorer Terran Petteway sealed the Huskers first B1G road win with a long shot clock beating 3 pointer while Walter Pitchford chipped in 15 points. The Skinny Nebraska's first road win vs. Northwestern proved to be a turning point for both teams. The Huskers went on a 5 game winning streak to propel them into NCAA tournament consideration. Northwestern has now lost five straight to fall into the logjam that is the basement of the B1G. Even more bad news for the offensively challenged Wildcats as they've lost their second leading scorer in JerShon Cobb. Besides scoring, the loss of Cobb's length additionally hurts the Wildcat defense and exposes their lack of depth. Northwestern will be tough in this game, stopping at nothing to deny you free Runzas, but should be a team Nebraska can eventually put away at home. The Wildcats will pack the paint at all costs, attempt to make 3s after running down the shot clock, and hope that the refs will swallow their whistles. Look for Nebraska to work on some outside shooting today as it's going to be vital going forward. Prediction: Nebraska 66 - Northwestern 51 with a 55% chance of Runzas Click here to view the article atskooc 1 Quote
