The Skinny: 

Sorry, this will be brief because I'm travelling.

 

Minnesota is a paper tiger of sort as their cobbled together team that has some impressive wins in before Jan 1 (MIss St on the road, Mich on the road) has only won 1 game since (Rutgers at home).  Nevertheless, an impressive job by unpopular pick Ben Johnson in year 1.  One reason Minnesota might not be as successful in 2022, besides the uptick in opponents, is that they deploy one of the shortest benches in Div-1. (KenPom #354).

 

This is a team that Nebraska can beat and tempo will be important.  Speed up Minnesota and hit them as fast and as early as you can.  If Minnesota can hang in there, they have the grit Nebraska lacks to grind out a win. As a fan, I'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best which includes Nebraska to lose at home to *this* team.
