... has released his bracket prediction for a tournament that is still 10-months away. To my shock and dismay, Nebraska was not included, and didn't make the first 8 NIT participants. I just wanted to save this for posterity's sake... because mark my words, Joe Lunardi... we might make it onto the bubble this year when nobody expects it. I mean maybe. Just you watch Mr. Lunardi, it's highly possible that we end up in that first 8 out section.. *or higher*. Crazier things have happened. And when they do (mayhaps), I'll be here, Joseph, to make sure your poor faith in Nebrasketball is exposed (@OldTakesExposed), for everyone to point and laugh. Not likely, but we'll see. Perchance. Conceivably.

Not that it means all that much in the preseason, but Jerry Palm released his (very early) bracketology today. NU comes in as a #5 seed - playing in Omaha. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/bracketology Big Ten has 8 teams in. Wisconsin #1 Ohio State #4 Michigan State #5 Nebraska #5 Michigan #6 Iowa #9 Maryland #10 Illinois #12 (play-in round)
